Welcome to Myrtle Street
In 2020, RP Constructors won the bid as prime contractor for the $6.6 million City of Sioux City Myrtle Street Project.
The two-year total reconstruction project involved completely replacing 50-year old infrastructure, (sanitary sewer, water main, storm sewer, and concrete replacement). CEC, our engineering firm, was hired to perform the construction survey.
As the project was in a largely residential neighborhood, access to both houses and businesses would be severely curtailed. At our own expense, we placed additional fencing and other items to keep the public safe during the construction. We also phased the project to reduce the impact on these homes and business owners.
This area will not have to be touched by the client with the exception of routine maintenance. The overall improvements should last well over 25 years, likely 50 years or more.
Big sites need big solutions.
From grading to underground utilities, we’re built for the heavy lifting.
