The RP Approach
RP Constructors not only can build projects but design them as well. Our sister company, CEC, is a professional services firm specializing in civil engineering, structural engineering, environmental engineering, process engineering, survey, drone surveying, program management, and more. This two-for-one approach allows us to self-perform various projects, eliminating the need to hire multiple third parties. CEC designs the projects, and RP Constructors builds them, which often results in projects that are built faster and less expensively than other builders’ projections.
Structural Concrete at Work
Structural concrete and several other services were used by RP Constructors to renovate WholeStone Farms in Freemont, Neb. The existing facility formally housed a Hormel packing plant.
As a hog processing facility, WholeStone Farms Wished to expand their facility and discharge more wastewater at a higher strength from the plant.
Because the City of Fremont, NE plant was at its capacity already, Wholestone’s wastewater pre-treatment system had to be updated.
RP Constructors was able to provide multiple services from the “ground down” including sanitary sewer, sheet pile shoring, wastewater treatment, dewatering systems, and structural concrete.
RP Constructors worked with our sister company CEC to complete the wastewater update. Not only was RP Constructors able to accelerate the client’s building schedule by over a year, but we did it for substantially less ($10 million to be exact) than the initial budget provided to the client by another firm.
RP Constructors also completes projects designed entirely or in part by other companies. RP Constructors has assisted on several projects to help bring them to completion. This type of assistance may mean doing the design work, setting forms, or pouring and finishing the concrete.
